STATEMENT OF FAITH
Statement of Faith
1. We believe in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
2. We believe that God is the Creator of all things. We believe in One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, was bodily raised from the dead, ascended back to the right hand of the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us. We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to the earth.
4. Man was originally created in the image of God. Man sinned by disobeying God and was separated from his Creator. That fall brought all mankind under divine condemnation. We believe that all people are, by nature, separated from God and responsible for their own sin.
5. We believe in the Salvation of the lost and sinful people through the redeeming shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by grace through faith alone in Christ alone and expressed in the individual’s repentance, recognition of the death of Christ as full payment for sin, and acceptance of the risen Christ as Saviour, Lord and God.
6. We believe in Heaven and Hell. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto eternal life, and the lost unto eternal damnation.
7. The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple men of every nation. The fulfillment of that Great Commission requires that all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinated to a total commitment to "Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.
