They say in life, nothing is free,
One way or another, it will cost you a fee.
It can cost you money or worse than that,
Can take part of your soul, you can never get back.
Then all you can do is go day by day,
Wondering how you allowed yourself to make them mistakes.
Wishing you could go back and change just one,
Then you remember the saying, "What's done is done".
So you do your best and then you really see,
There is nothing in life that comes for free.
The only thing free in life is salvation,
A gift from our creator a gift from above.
But even salvation comes with a price,
You must submit to God, give up your old life.
Salvation will fill your heart and pump through your veins,
It will give you great pleasure, take away your pain.
Salvation even reminds us there's always a fee,
Cause nothing in this life is ever free.
My Father

My father's one who does his best
To raise his children to pass life's test.
Whatever the test may be, big or small
He raises his children to conquer all.
My father's one who cares and understands,
He knows life's limit and has a plan.
His plan is eternal and everlasting life,
You can follow his plan to such greater heights.
To heights so great all you see is mist,
But does a love like this really exist?
I'm telling you it does, I know it's real,
The thought makes my heart beat with passion and thrill.
With such a passion, it fills your heart,
A passion you will never be able to part.
This love comes from the one who died for our sins,
My father is God, In Jesus name AMEN!
"Don't Let Them Have Their Way"

Let's bring up all of our children,
The way that God wants us to!
Instead of them running all over us
And telling us what to do!
We need to instruct God's word to our children everyday.
But not too hard or forceful,
In a God fearing loving way.
But we first need to live it!!
And let God's light shine through us!
So when we let our light so shine
Then in God they'll put their trust!
Now I'm giving you all these words to try to keep them out of jail!
And maybe they'll believe these words coming out from this prison cell!!
Yes I was one of those kids,
Who thought that they knew it all
Now I sit here in this cell of mine,
Staring out at these prison walls!
If you don't want your children
To be in this place one day,
Just remember these six words
"DON'T LET THEM HAVE THEIR WAY!!"

"I'll Never Have To Say Goodbye To Her Again"

I got called into the Chaplain's Office just the other day.
He said son sit down, I've got some bad news your mother passed away.
Then immediately I dropped my head, and started to cry.
Because it was then I remembered I didn't say goodbye.
Yes, now it's much too late for they've laid her down to rest.
If I'd only realized sooner how truly I had been blessed!
Lord I wish that just for today, I could turn back the hands of time.
I'd tell her how much I loved her and then I would say goodbye!
If there's one thing that I could tell you about your mother today,
It would be to always cherish her wisdom, it will help you on your way!
You see this life is full of blessings, our mothers gave us more than a few.
Never forget about the sacrifices and all that she's done for you!
Your mother loves you dearly, all she wants is the best for you!
So tell her NOW that you love her cause thinking about it sure won't do.
You only have one mother and she'll leave this world one day!
Tell her how much she means to you, please don't wait till it's too late.
Mama if your looking down then you know what's become of me.
I'm bound up behind these prison walls but my Savior has set me free!
One day we'll be together in Heaven for eternity, there's be no end.
And then I know I'll never have to say goodbye to you again!

THINKING
As I sit here thinking,
About all things wrong.
I feel like I'm sinking,
And it won't be long.
My life feels empty and sad,
My family's left but I ain't mad.
Strangers I've met,
People I'll never forget.
Now it's my time to go,
Oh how I hope so.
Cause I know it's all from above,
God always sends His love.
He's always there tried and true,
Even when we are sad and blue.
God has His reasons,
So do you.
As you lay your head down,
Remember his crown;
The pain He felt,
I'll never forget,
For He is near,
That's why I'm here.
God will always love you.
